You may be entitled to a free eye examination, some of the criteria are listed below,

• If you are under 16 (under 19 in full-time education) or over 60
• If you receive Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker¹s Allowance, or certain other Government benefits
• If you have certain medical conditions such as glaucoma or diabetes
• If you are over 40 and have an immediate relative with glaucoma
• If you are registered blind or partially sighted
• If you need certain complex or powerful lenses (ask for details)
• If you are named on an HC2 form (and possibly an HC3 form).
